Japanese Zen Inspired Tattoo & Meditation Studio
The space is designed by Traditional Japanese Tattoo Artist Hori Maki, and certified Sound Practitioner Nicolas Sotomayor.
Inked Zen is unlike any other tattoo studio you’ll find in Los Angeles, or the rest of the world. It combines the elements of a traditional Japanese tattoo studio with the calming energy of a wellness center. They seek healing and minimalism through art, and want clients to feel tranquility during their sessions.
Maki and Nic created their own style of "Zen Healing", which blends Japanese Zen tattooing, and the therapeutic benefits of sound and meditation. They believe in the process of receiving the pain while getting tattoo can be a deep meditative and healing experience. They created the space for you to dive into the deep Irezumi Meditation experience.
Whether you come to get inked or attend a sound bath meditation class, clients leave here with a sense of peace and belonging…
